Back-to-School PSA: Let’s talk college computers real quick
Don’t buy a Chromebook just because it’s cheap.
If it ain’t in the Play Store, it ain’t on that laptop. You’ll be emailing professors like, “Can I write this essay in Google Slides?” 💀
Don’t buy a MacBook unless your child grew up in a MacBook household.
Otherwise, they’ll be in the dorm like, “Where are my downloads?” while you’re at home crying over the $1,200 you spent so they can not run the programs they need.
Just get a regular ol’ Windows PC.
It runs everything. It’s familiar. It’s affordable. And most importantly, it won’t leave anyone confused and crying during midterms.
